My wonderful mother bought me an acoustic guitar today, for which I am very grateful. I’ve been thinking about buying one myself, and thought that I might try to ask Santa for one at Christmas, but apparently she’s also been thinking about getting some musical instruments for Evan to be exposed to and she figured that if he saw me play, then he might get interested in music.
Of course, he is already interested in music, and he knows the difference between normal/everyday sounds and music. He even loves to dance to it and/or sing as well. He’s been playing with my drum sticks and practice pad for a while now, but this is the first instrument he’s seen up close and personal, and he’s getting a real kick out of it.
Anyhow, I’m super-stoked about this and can’t wait to get more proficient at it.
