I know, I know… most people hate commercials, but I really love a good commercial. Emphasis on the word “good“. Volkswagen has some of the best and here is my favorite, in both the long version and the short version.

It’s official: Peter Jackson, New Line Cinema, and MGM are now officially working together to get two movies based on the JRR Tolkien “The Hobbit
Apparently New Line and MGM are co-financing and co-distributing while Peter and Company are pegged as Executive Producer(s). More details on The Hobbit movies at TheOneRing.net and the official Hobbit movie blog, but personally I am ecstatic that not only the movies are being made, but that PJ is attached in a very influential role. The only downside is that he’s not also directing the movies, which is unfortunate.

If you play World of Warcraft like I do, you know that you’re not supposed to be able to fly inside the Scryer bank, or any bank for that matter, in Shattrath; but through a bug, luck, or lag I was able to do just that for a few minutes today with my undead rogue Gorysh. I finally hopped off my mount, stood on a rafter, and took a screenshot:
