The BBC is teasing me with an article on Peter Jackson commenting on how he’d be “keen” (his word, not mine) on filming The Hobbit. There are several problems though, most notably Christopher Tolkien putting a bit of a roadblock on it and secondly he would have to do it after his remake of King Kong, due out in 2005.
By the way, can I just say “WTF” in regards to the world needing another stinkin’ King Kong movie! It’ll be what, the 4th remake? And honestly I’ve had enough of that damned dirty ape. Jackson’s got some interesting ideas for it (so I read), but still…
