Kimberly’s back at work now and yesterday was the first time Evan and I had a whole day together. While he was in his new baby swing I was playing with him and a toy. All of a sudden he grabbed the toy, jiggled/played with it for a bit and then (of course) stuck part of it in his mouth. That’s the first time he’s ever grabbed at something and consciously played with it!
Two nights in a row Evan has slept through the night; and he’s not even three months old yet. Close to 7.5 hours on Wednesday night and just shy of 8.5 hours last night! That’s awesome; I hope it keeps up!
Yesterday I bought Kimberly and myself tickets to see Diana Krall at the Paramount in March. This will be our second time seeing her; the first being at the Chateau Ste. Michelle winery a few years ago. Kimberly is a huge Diana Krall fan, and even though I’m not as big a fan of jazz as she is, I really like Diana Krall. I’ve even made sure Kimberly has every one of her CD’s… and if you ever read this post Ms. Krall, could you please email my wife? She’d love to hear from you!
I had to get the most expensive seats that there were since by time I got around to getting the ticket (the day after I heard she was coming from our friend Trina), those were all that was left. So $160 later (including that lovely TicketMaster extra “fee”) we got the tickets and we’re all set to go.
